Job summary

The Senior Project Controls Engineer will manage all elements of Project Controls (Scheduling, Cost, Trend, and Risk) for assigned projects within the multi-billion-euro Rail Baltica project. The role requires a self-starter with strong energy and motivation, proficiency with cost control techniques and tools (including cost management software), and the ability to work effectively with RB Rail AS reporting frameworks.

Your responsibilities

• Create and maintain project time schedules using professional CPM planning software (Oracle Primavera P6), perform critical path analysis, and communicate project status.
• Monitor and update schedule progress, analyze data, and prepare reports to steer delivery on time and on budget.
• Identify and track potential risks and opportunities within the project.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule, and resources by evaluating, assessing, and reporting impacts.
• Provide direct and functional leadership to assigned Project Controls Engineers.
• Foster a motivating work environment and an open communication culture.

To succeed, you should have

• 5+ years of experience with cost and/or schedule control processes in the infrastructure industry.
• Advanced knowledge and competency with CPM scheduling software (Oracle Primavera P6).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and commissioning work processes.
• Strong understanding of Project Controls technical practices, with excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Fluency in English and familiarity with technical terminology.
